  • Tour of South Africa 2007 (Day 1)

We're alive! Not to say that we shouldn't be... I'm just saying.

After being on a plane for about 23 hours we have made it to our destination which some have guesstimated to almost be on the complete opposite side of the earth.

Travel went without a hitch. Just a bunch of really really long lines. Really.

We stopped in Atlanta, then Dakar, until we finally arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mike's Kitchen was the name of the restaurant we had our 10PM dinner with our hosts.

Exhausted, everyone retired as early as possible for today was the tiring day of travel.

Finally, hotel and then sleep. Tomorrow is going to be packed.

    Below are pictures.

Some of us slept on the plane.

In Dakar they did an entire security sweep while we were on the plane. They ripped the seats open of their velcro. I don't know what they were looking for.

Coca-Cola doesn't taste the same. It's still fine though.

Apparently, gigabyte welcomed us to South Africa.

  • Fulton Hawk: A Legacy

    Today is Fulton's birthday.

Last night at 4AM I was surfing the channels and caught this special airing on CNN. I hope it ministers to your soul as it did mine.

  • Online classes late at night

Have you ever taken an online class late at night?  Ever try typing while falling asleep?  It looks something like this:

I woke up and realized I was speaking nonsense.  I erased that and tried again.  But this is what I got...

    Picture 3

So I gave up and went to sleep.

I went to Wal-mart a couple hours ago and all I bought was sandpaper.

    It's time to get serious.
